Here are some updated instructions I found on how to install Sopcast in Ubuntu 10.10.
Everything installed perfectly. As you know there where a few issues to start with, but these have been ironed out.
To install Sopcast in Ubuntu 10.10 open a terminal and enter the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/sopcast
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sopcast-player
