| Install Acrobat Reader in Ubuntu To install Adobe Reader open your terminal and enter the following command: sudo apt-get install acroread If you get an error message, E: Couldn't find package acroread it means you need to enable the other repositories. To do this goto System >> Administration >> Software Sources >> Other Software and enable the other repositories. When Abode Reader has installed you will find it in your Office Menu. Adobe reader runs very smoothly in Ubuntu. For quick view of .PDF's I find this better than the windows version, that seems to require some weird installer from Adobe, and then 10 mins installing the software. ![]() |
