Tips for burning Ubuntu .iso to CD / DVD before installing
I ran in to issues when burning the .iso for Ubuntu. It did not matter how many CD's I burned, everytime

I tried to boot to the Live Desktop, the CD would error. In the end I wasted 6 CD's trying to get it work. I swapped the CD for a DVD and this time it worked.

To get a perfect download and ensure your CD/DVD works first time try the following:-

1) Download the Ubuntu .iso from a torrent. It is also faster than directly downloading from the Ubuntu website or mirrors.

2) Burn the .iso to CD/DVD at a slower speed. Do not burn at maximum speed.

3) If you find that the CD/DVD will not boot after burning, try a different make of CD/DVD

4) If you find that changing the make of CD/DVD did not work, try burning the .iso in another CD/DVD burner

5) If you still having issues install Wubi inside Windows. Wubi allows you to install Ubuntu inside Windows.
